Chasing The Endless Summer RSS

I believe that the hubby was a chef in another life....maybe a cool food truck chef parked ocean front, tossing around fresh ingredients and sipping on a nice cold one. We are always looking for colorful, healthy recipes to eat on the go or take to the beach.  Whether the recipe comes from YaYa's hand me down secrets, magazine tear outs or good ole Pinterest, we have accumulated quite the collection over the years.  Today we were both craving something that made us feel like we were on a vacation.  We landed on handmade tortilla chips, fresh guacamole and a...

sick day smoothie -

It happens, we all get sick…..but when our little ones catch a bug it’s hard to get them to even make eye contact with food.  So we stick with liquids around here when we aren’t feeling our best.  We whip up smoothies on a daily basis at our place, playing with ingredients , textures and colors.  We make some so thick they won’t fit through a straw and some so delicious that we fight over the leftovers.  Smoothies are a great treat anytime of year…a sweet treat that is healthy, our favorite kind. It was painfully silent.  It was the first...

chasing -

Welcome to our very first blog post!    We wanted to have a spot where everyone could come to take a peek into our whirlwind of a life.  Some days are a total wash but some days are worth sharing. We wake up early and go to bed late, we work full time jobs as a photographer and a graphic designer, we operate our Fin First shirt business, we are raising a strong-willed redhead that we all know as Fin and we are currently learning to embrace the bags under our eyes.  In between the little sleep...
