sick day smoothie -


    It happens, we all get sick…..but when our little ones catch a bug it’s hard to get them to even make eye contact with food.  So we stick with liquids around here when we aren’t feeling our best.  We whip up smoothies on a daily basis at our place, playing with ingredients , textures and colors.  We make some so thick they won’t fit through a straw and some so delicious that we fight over the leftovers.  Smoothies are a great treat anytime of year…a sweet treat that is healthy, our favorite kind. Fin’s get-well-soon smoothie consists of all sorts of natural goodness…..

Blender full of goodness includes:

  • 1 cup of ice
  • 4 cups almond milk
  • 1 cup banana
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup mixed berries
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • 1/2 cup of goji berries
  • Pinch of maca powder
  • Sprinkle of acai powder
  • Dash of maqui powder
  • Scoop of green powder



Blend until smooth
